EM TEST is the Swiss specialist for conducted transient and power-quality testing, and has been part of AMETEK since 2011, where it sits beside Teseq and AR as AMETEK Compliance Test Solutions. The calibration is carried out in your laboratory by the LAB Support Southeast Asia team, so the equipment does not leave the site.

Can you calibrate an EM TEST generator we already own?

Yes. Calibration is performed against the requirements of the test standard, on site in your laboratory, under the A2LA accredited ISO/IEC 17025 scope of LAB Support Ltd. It does not matter where or when the generator was bought, and both the 500N and the NX generations are covered.

Does the EM TEST esd NX30 meet IEC 61000-4-2 Edition 3.0?

Yes. The esd NX30 complies with the 2025 edition. Our technical note on IEC 61000-4-2 Edition 3.0 explains what changed for the generator and its calibration.

Which EM TEST product should an automotive laboratory start with?
