What the LD 200N is used for

Load dump is what the alternator does when the battery is suddenly disconnected: an overvoltage lasting hundreds of milliseconds, with enough energy to destroy an unprotected module. The LD 200N reproduces it, in the unsuppressed form and in the clipped form that a vehicle with central suppression produces.

It works alone from its front panel or as part of a bench with the UCS 200N, whose coupling network it can use and control.
