Output voltage levels, inrush current capability, dip timing and phase angle of power-quality test systems measured on site under LAB Support Ltd.'s A2LA accredited ISO/IEC 17025 scope, by the LAB Support Southeast Asia team.
IEC 61000-4-11 specifies the residual voltage at each dip level, the rise and fall time of the voltage change, the phase angle at which it starts and the inrush current the source must deliver. A tester whose switching edges have slowed or whose residual level has drifted may pass a product that fails in a second laboratory. IEC 61000-4-29 adds DC dips and IEC 61000-4-34 covers high-current equipment.
