Accredited Calibration Service

Accredited calibration, on site, by a local team

Your EMC test equipment calibrated in your own laboratory under LAB Support Ltd.'s A2LA accredited ISO/IEC 17025:2017 scope, performed by the LAB Support Southeast Asia team in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. Field calibration is written into the accredited scope, so the certificate you receive on site carries the same accreditation as one issued in Japan.

On site in your lab, or in the laboratory in Japan

Our main service

On site in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam

The LAB Support Southeast Asia team brings the reference standards to your laboratory and calibrates your instruments where they are used.

  • No shipping, no customs, no weeks without your generator
  • Whole systems calibrated as installed: LISNs on the bench, antennas in the chamber, site attenuation and site VSWR in the room itself
  • Witness the measurement and receive the accredited certificate under certificate 2127.01
  • Scheduled around your test bookings
When the lab is the better place

In the laboratory in Japan

For instruments that need the laboratory environment or the lowest uncertainty.

  • Calibration at LAB Support's laboratory in Azumino, Nagano
  • ICX Lab arranges collection, export and return
  • Same accredited scope, laboratory CMC uncertainties

Brands we calibrate

Most of the instruments we calibrate come from these manufacturers. The accredited scope is defined by parameter and range, not by brand, so ask us about any make or model.

Our partner

LAB Support Ltd., Japan

LAB Support Ltd. is an A2LA accredited calibration laboratory in Azumino, Nagano, that specialises in EMC test equipment and supports test laboratories through their own accreditation. Its Southeast Asia team, working with ICX Lab in Penang, delivers the same accredited calibration on site in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.

  • Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by A2LA, recognised through the ILAC mutual recognition arrangement
  • Field calibration included in the accredited scope
  • Calibration methods aligned to the IEC, CISPR, ISO and ANSI standards your laboratory is assessed against
  • Certificates that state uncertainty and traceability for every reported value

What auditors will ask

Straight answers on on-site uncertainty

The A2LA scope states that uncertainties achieved at a customer's site can be larger than the laboratory CMC values, because of the site environment, transport of the reference standards and the resolution of the instrument being calibrated. Every on-site certificate states the uncertainty actually achieved in your laboratory, and we tell you before the visit if an instrument would be better served in the laboratory in Japan.
Questions

Frequently asked

Do you come to our laboratory?

Yes. On-site calibration is our main service in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. The LAB Support Southeast Asia team brings the reference standards to you and calibrates your instruments where they are used.

Is an on-site certificate as valid as one from the laboratory?

Yes. Field calibration is part of LAB Support's A2LA accredited scope, so on-site certificates are issued under the same certificate number, 2127.01, with the uncertainty actually achieved in your laboratory stated on the certificate.

Which equipment can be calibrated on site?

Transient and ESD generators, dips and power-quality testers, harmonics and flicker systems, LISNs, CDNs and probes, antennas, EMI receivers, RF signal generators, power meters and sensors, oscilloscopes, and site validation such as NSA and site VSWR. Send your list and we confirm item by item against the scope.

How long does a visit take?

It depends on the number and type of instruments. We plan the sequence with you so the laboratory keeps running, and confirm the schedule in the quotation.

What if an instrument is not in the field scope?

We tell you before the visit. Such instruments can be calibrated at LAB Support's laboratory in Japan, and ICX Lab arranges collection, export and return.

Can you calibrate equipment from any manufacturer?

Yes. Calibration is performed against the requirements of the test standard, not the brand, so generators, networks and antennas from all major manufacturers are supported, including the AMETEK CTS equipment we supply.

Will you remind me when calibration is due?

Yes. We keep a record of every instrument we calibrate and contact you ahead of the next due date so your accreditation is never at risk from an expired certificate.

Tell us what you need to test

We reply within one working day with a quote or a plan.
