Where it fits

What the Ripple NX is used for

Electric drives, traction batteries, DC-DC converters and on-board chargers all sit on a high-voltage DC bus that carries ripple from every other converter on it. ISO 21498, ISO 7637-4, LV 123 and VW 80300 test for immunity to that ripple, and at these voltages and currents the test set-up is a system in itself.

The Ripple NX delivers that system as one product: amplifier, coupling network, measurement, capacitor bank, connection box and the software with its test library. It is also used for ripple on high-power aircraft components to RTCA/DO 160 and MIL-STD 704.
