What the 250S1G6C is used for

1 GHz to 6 GHz holds most of the radar, navigation and communication bands that MIL-STD-461 RS103, ISO 11452-2 and the vehicle manufacturer specifications test against, and IEC 61000-4-3 ends at 6 GHz as well. One amplifier across the whole band means one band change in the test instead of two or three. The S series is solid state throughout, so there is no tube to age and no warm-up time, and the 1 to 6 GHz family runs from 30 W to 1000 W.
